Harlan Steffen
Harlan Steffen has been a Pastor at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel for more than 40 years. He and his Wife Evelyn have one Son, Fred and three Daughters, Alice, Andrea, and Ann. They also have ten Grandchildren.
Harlan has been active in many of the local ministries throughout his 40 years. He is owner of Steffen Realty in Syracuse, Indiana.

Brad Cox
Brad Cox came to the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in 2004 and now Co-Pastors with Harlan. Brad and his Wife Karen have three Sons, Travis, Eric and John and one Daughter Abby. They also have one Grandson Elliot.
Brad and Karen are lifetime residents of the lake area and are involved in many community events.

Teri Herman
Teri Herman has been attending the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel for many years and in 2006 she became our Youth Pastor. Teri and her Husband Ken have four children, Jennifer, Caitlin, Kevin and Travis.
Teri is very active with the community and has a heart for the kids.
Wawasee Lakeside Chapel History
- 1947, October- Started by Goshen College Youth in Byer's Chapel.
- 1948, Winter- Byer's Chapel caught fire on a Sunday morning and burned to the ground.
- 1949, Summer- Met at the Crow's Nest Barn.
- 1949-1955 - Met at the Turkey Creek Conservation Club House.
- 1952- Became affiliated with the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Mission Board.
- 1955- Chapel built on present location.
- 1961- Additional construction to each end of the building.
- 1973- The Chapel became an independent Congregation within the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference.
- 1975- Present building completed.
- 2005- Ground breaking for new building.
- 2006- Building dedicated.
